Biographical Information

Dr. Chen is a lecturer of School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiaotong University. He was born in Fujian, China and graduated from Xi`an University of technology with a bachelor’s degree. He later received a Master’s degree and Ph.D. degree in Fukui University, Japan in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He worked in National Institute for Materials Science, Japan as a postdoctoral from 2010 to 2011. His major researches in dye-sensitized solar cell.Through his career, he has made great accomplishments in the field including achieving the world record efficiency of 11.4% in dye-sensitized solar cells in 2011. From 2011, He moved to current position from Dec. 2011. His current research interests involved foundational research dye-sensitized solar cells, new structure of dye-sensitized solar cell, electrochemical gaging.
