On the afternoon of July 4, 2025, the 10th "Zhihong" International Summer School on Advanced Materials successfully hosted its second fun sports meet at the Zhiyuan Swimming Pool. Forty-plus students from seven countries, namely Kazakhstan, India, Serbia, Poland, Vietnam, Greece, Russia, and China, were divided into six groups and participated in four rounds of competitions as well as one additional round. The students fully embodied the sports spirit of "Friendship First, Competition Second," sweating and sharing wisdom through fun competitions, jointly composing a cross-border youth symphony and spending a thoroughly enjoyable time.

This fun sports meet was hosted by Wang Zhuoying, a Chinese student.

The first competition event is a Chinese traditional item- pitch-pot - kicked off. Members of Group 3 quickly mastered the skills and finally took the lead with a score of 14 out of 28.

Next came the second event - back-to-back ball transport. Group 4 members showed excellent teamwork and finished first with a time of 33 seconds.

Immediately following was the third event - Balance Forest. Group 4 members once again demonstrated seamless teamwork, achieving a dominant lead with an outstanding time of 13 seconds and securing another victory.

Finally, the fourth event - cross the river by feeling the stones - was held. Every step taken by Group 5 members was precise and steady, and they won first place with a time of 1 minute and 32 seconds, adding another highlight to this fun sports meet.

After the four rounds of competitions, points were assigned according to the rankings of each event. Among them, Groups 3, 4, 5, and 6 had the highest and equal total scores. So the additional round went to.

The additional event was the three-legged race, with all four groups competing simultaneously. After an exciting final showdown, the final rankings of this fun sports meet were determined, and the event came to an end! The organizers distributed prizes based on the final rankings as a form of commendation.

The second fun sports meet of the "Zhihong" International Summer School has come to a successful close. This year's event continued last year's pioneering model of "fun sports + team competitions." Carefully designed events such as pitch-pot and back-to-back ball transport allowed students to experience the charm of sports and forge a spirit of perseverance through competitive play, while also breaking down barriers and deepening connections through collaboration. The event received unanimous praise from the students. This vibrant sports showed its unique charm!
