Finally, Prof. Ke Chen delivered a speech. As the founder of the "Zhihong" Summer School, he looked back on the journey since the first summer school in 2016, feeling incredibly lucky and grateful. He remarked that having so many young students from around the world gather at Shanghai Jiao Tong University to study and experience Chinese traditional culture was exactly his original intention in founding the "Zhihong" Summer School. He hoped that the students would cherish this experience and welcomed them to join Shanghai Jiao Tong University to contribute to the progress and development of human society.

The "Zhihong" International Summer School for Advanced Materials has been held annually since 2016. This year, as the 10th edition hosted by the School of Materials Science and Engineering, in addition to well-received traditional activities such as academic lectures, cultural festivals, and enterprise visits, it also continued previously designed fun sports meets and Kung Fu classes. Through continuous feedback surveys, the summer school will continue to innovate its teaching model, providing students with opportunities to understand and learn about the international academic frontiers in the field of advanced materials centered around the school's advantageous research directions and hot topics in the materials field. It effectively expands the students' knowledge and academic horizons while offering a broad platform for Chinese and foreign students to exchange and learn from each other.
