Introduction

Prof. Shenmin Zhu, received her Ph.D degree in Polymer science and engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2001 (Supervisor: Prof. Deyue Yan). After completing PhD, she was awarded a Scholarship from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS fellowship) to work at AIST, Japan from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, she moved to Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an associate professor in School of Materials Sciences and Engineering and is a Professor at present. She has published more than 160 papers with over 6000 times of citation.

Research Interests

Her current research interests involve: (1) designing and synthesizing bio-inspired functional materials and investigation their applications in water splitting and photocatalyst; (2) functional materials and its use in lithium battery (anode and solid polymer electrolytes);
