Introduction

Professor Zhou has been with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) since he received his Ph.D. degree from SJTU in 1995.

Biographical Information

Professor Zhou has been with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) since he received his Ph.D. degree from SJTU in 1995.

Research Interests

Prof. Zhou’s research area covers CAD/CAE/CAPP/CAM, reverse engineering, knowledge-based intelligent design, multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO), product similarity assessment and design resource reuse, feature-based product data conversion and system integration, agile manufacturing and digital manufacturing, and under his leadership, 8 sets of knowledge-based and integrated intelligent design systems were developed and used in mechanical and die and mold industry.
