Introduction
Dr. Yangxin Li works at the National Engineering Research Center of Light Alloy Net Forming, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He received his Ph.D from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2014. He visited the School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering, University of Queensland as a CSC joint-Ph.D student (2011-2013). His research interest is exploring the microstructure-properties relations of metallic materials, and focuses on designing high performance magnesium alloys using advanced modeling and experimental methods and techniques. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers. His research is financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the National Key Research and Development Program of China etc.. He was awarded the Shanghai Sailing Program by Science and Technology Committee of Shanghai (2017).
