Introduction

Juan Chen is working as Associate Professor in the National Engineering Research Center of Light Alloy Net Forming (LAF) under School of Materials Sciences and Engineering. She obtained her PhD degree from the division of Materials and Manufacturing Science at Osaka University. Since 2014, she started to work in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She is mainly engaged in the research work of hydrogen-chromic functional films and devices, friction stir welding and processing, microstructure design of magnesium materials, as well as the application research of hydrogen sensor, switchable glass and lightweight in transportation field. She has been elected as a member of Youth Committee of Magnesium alloy branch of Chinese Material Research Society.
