Biographical Information

His research interests primarily focus on the research and development of biodegradable medical metallic materials and their implantable devices. His main academic achievements are in the fields of composition design, performance regulation, and device development of biodegradable magnesium alloys and zinc alloys.

As a core member, he has participated in over 10 national - level major and key projects. He has achieved a series of innovative results in the degradation mechanism, biocompatibility improvement, and basic research on clinical applications of biodegradable metallic materials.

Over the past five years, as a key researcher, he has participated in 2 National Key R & D Program projects (2021YFC2400701; 2024YFC2418602) and presided over 1 General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (52273318).

He has published more than 70 SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author in international authoritative journals such as Biomaterials, Acta Biomaterialia, Corrosion Science, and Journal of Magnesium and Alloys. The total citation count of these papers exceeds 3,000, and his H - index is 36.

He has applied for 26 patents, among which 5 have been transferred or licensed. He has established 6 Shanghai municipal enterprise standards for biodegradable medical metals and participated in the declaration of 2 group standards.

Meanwhile, relying on relevant research results, he has assisted the team in establishing two medical device companies (Shanghai Innovation Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Yuezhong Medical Technology Co., Ltd.). Currently, he is actively promoting the clinical transformation and industrialization of a variety of degradable Class III implantable and interventional devices.
