Introduction

Dr. Tan’s research interests focus on the architectured Metal Matrix Composites (MMCs) for structural light-weight and thermal management applications.

Biographical Information

Dr. Tan received his B.S. degree in Inorganic Materials Science & Engineering from Hebei University of Science & Technology in 2006, then received his M.S. degree in Materials Science from Central South University in 2009, and got his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2014. He completed the postdoctoral research in Shanghai Jiao Tong University during 2014–2016, and then joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2017 as an assistant researcher. From 2020, he promoted as an associated researcher there.

Research Interests

Dr. Tan’s research interests focus on the architectured Metal Matrix Composites (MMCs) for structural light-weight and thermal management applications.
