Introduction

Dr. Zhou’s research interests mainly focus on H embrittlement, computationally-guided design of new alloys and metal matrix composites with robust mechanical properties.

Biographical Information

Dr. Xiao Zhou received his PhD degree in Materials Engineering from McGill University in 2018, Canada (Supervisor: Prof. Jun Song). From 2018 to 2021, He was a postdoc researcher at Ecole Polytechnic de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland (Supervisor: Prof. William A. Curtin). He served as an associate professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2022.1. Dr. Zhou’s research interests mainly focus on H embrittlement, computationally-guided design of new alloys and metal matrix composites with robust mechanical properties. He has published many research articles as the first author or corresponding author in prestigious journals, including Physical Review Letters, Acta Materialia, Scripta Materialia, Matter etc.
