Biographical Information
Professor Jun Chen received his bachelor degree and master degree from Shandong Polytechnic University, China in 1990 and 1993 respectively, and got his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 1996 in China. During April 1998 to April 1999, he was the visiting scholar at the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Ford Motor Company, USA. He has been full professor at SJTU since Sept 2004.
Currently Prof. Jun CHEN is the deputy director of the Institute of Forming Technology and Equipment, School of Material Science and Engineering, SJTU, deputy director of the National Engineering Research Center for Die & Mold CAD at SJTU, member of the academic committee of the State Key Laboratory of Material Processing Numerical Simulation and Die & Mold Technology at Huazhong University of Science & Technology, China, standing director of the Society for Plasticity of Technology, China, head of the technical committee of Shanghai Die & Mold Trade Association and editorial member for Journal of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Journal of Plasticity Engineering, Forging & Stamping and Precision Forming Engineering.
