Introduction

Li Jin is working as professor in the National Engineering Research Center of Light Alloy Net Forming (LAF) under School of Materials Sciences and Engineering. Her researches are focus on following topics: texture of Mg alloy, texture induced deformation behavior and metal Forming. She has led and accomplished many projects about lightweight materials of magnesium or aluminum, has over 50 publications and been awarded 8 Chinese Patents. Besides, she is teaching two classes including “Failure analysis of Materials” and “Heat treatment for Materials”.

Biographical Information

She received her Bachelors and Masters in Material Sciences and Engineering from the Central South University (China) in 2003, and got her Doctorate in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China) in 2006. She worked as visiting scientist for General Motors Global Research & Development ad Warren, MI 48090-9055 during June 2007-June 2008, started working as an assistant researcher in Aug. 2006 to Dec. 2010) and then associate professor from Jan. 2011 to Dec. 2018 in School of Materials Sciences and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
